Which one fits your family?
ParentLove does some things Dobbin doesn't. Here's when each one is the better pick.
ParentLove is the better pick if…
- You want logging and caregiver sharing free, for good.
- Breastfeeding is the focus, and you'd like an app designed with a lactation consultant, with a freezer milk inventory.
- You often log without a signal and want entries saved offline.
- You're leaving Nara and want your history brought across; ParentLove imports it.
- Someone in your household uses Android.
Dobbin is the better pick if…
- You want to start feeds and naps from your Apple Watch, even with your phone in another room.
- You'd rather never see an ad, and have every feature in one price instead of choosing upgrades.
- You want a nap or breastfeed your partner starts on your Lock Screen instantly.

FAQ
Dobbin vs ParentLove questions
Does ParentLove have an Apple Watch app?
No. As of October 2026, ParentLove's App Store listing doesn't include an Apple Watch app. Dobbin's Watch app logs feeds, sleep, pumping, diapers and routines, has complications for time since the last feed and time awake, and works with your iPhone in another room.
Is ParentLove free?
Yes, with ads. Breastfeeding, bottle, sleep, diaper and pumping logs and unlimited caregiver sharing are free. One-time upgrades add more: as of October 2026, Pro is $24.99, Pro Family $39.99, and single upgrades such as Ad Free, Export or Milk Bank cost $9.99 to $11.99.
Is ParentLove a subscription?
No. ParentLove sells one-time upgrades, and so does Dobbin. The difference is that Dobbin has one price, $19.99 once after the 14‑day free trial, with every feature, every caregiver and no ads.
Can I move my ParentLove data to Dobbin?
Not yet. Dobbin can't import other apps' data today. If you have ParentLove's Export or Pro upgrade, save a CSV so you keep a copy, then start fresh in Dobbin.
