Dobbin vs Glow Baby

A Glow Baby alternative where your partner is included.

Glow Baby is free to use on your own, but adding a second caregiver needs its Premium Family Plan, about $90 a year. Dobbin has a 14‑day free trial, then $19.99 once for the whole household, with every caregiver included, no ads and no tracking.

Which one fits your family?

Glow Baby does some things Dobbin doesn't. Here's when each one is the better pick.

Glow Baby is the better pick if…

  • You already use Glow's ovulation or pregnancy apps and want one Premium for all of them.
  • You'd like AI forecasts for the next feed and nap, and comparisons with other Glow babies.
  • Only one of you logs, and you're happy with the free version and its ads.
  • Someone in your household uses Android.

Dobbin is the better pick if…

  • Your partner, a grandparent or a nanny should log too, without a Family Plan.
  • You'd rather not see ads, or have your data used to track you across other companies' apps.
  • You want your partner's naps and breastfeeds on your Lock Screen instantly, and a Watch app that works with your phone in another room.

Switching

Moving from Glow Baby takes a few minutes.

  1. Keep your history

Glow Premium exports your log as a PDF or CSV. If you're subscribed, save a copy before you cancel so you keep your history.

  2. Set up your household

Once Dobbin is on the App Store, install it, sign in with Apple and add your baby. Start with a 14‑day free trial, then $19.99 once for the whole household.

  3. Bring everyone in

Invite your partner and anyone else who helps, then add the complications to your watch face.

FAQ

Dobbin vs Glow Baby questions

Does Glow Baby charge for a second caregiver?

Yes. Glow says you need its Premium Family Plan, about $90 a year as of October 2026, to add a second caregiver; without it you can only track on your own account. Dobbin's 14‑day free trial, then $19.99 once covers every caregiver in the household.

Is Glow Baby free?

Glow Baby is free to download and use on one account, with ads. Glow Premium, about $60 a year, removes ads and adds feed and nap forecasts, comparative insights and PDF and CSV export. The App Store also lists a $79.99 lifetime option.

Does Glow Baby have ads?

The free version shows ads, and Glow Premium is ad-free. Glow's App Store privacy label also lists purchases, location, contact info, identifiers and usage data as data used to track you. Dobbin has no ads and no ad or analytics SDKs.

Can I move my Glow Baby data to Dobbin?

Not yet. Dobbin can't import other apps' data today. If you have Glow Premium, save a CSV export so you keep a copy, then start fresh in Dobbin and invite your partner.
